    Hi Sandy, thank you for stopping by and your kind comments. That Santa was from back in the 80's and I don't even remember what book, but I was given the pattern from a friend to enjoy. I still find books now and then at Hobby Lobby but like you said, it is not like it was. I will always enjoy painting from the old patterns but these days I create my own designs and patterns to offer the newer designs.
    So glad to hear you continue to paint. Decorating painting is a beautiful art form and still has much to offer those interested.
